About a year ago 1 TikTok clip kept haunting my mind. A lady told the best advice she ever got from a teacher: "fail 100 times".
She explained - by trying to fail so much - eventually she won so many projects that she had no time to dwell on the "failures"..

That really caught my attention,... I must confess, I have a ridiculously high number of excuses to not compete for something ... unconsciously or half-consciously because I am afraid of the big fat NO. Because I am afraid to read in black and white that my work is not good enough. Terrified all my big dreams will never come true, and it's all a waste of time and effort.
Therefore, my late "new years resolution" for 2021 was to fail; small-hearted and, preferably 100 times!
To Fail 100 times I needed to try at least 100 times.
One year later, the meter stands at 19 fails and 4 wins. Not bad, not great…
This year I plan to compleet the 100 fails so it doesn’t stay with just dreaming and hoping for a breakthrough. Time to stop wishing and just do it!
A quick glance in my agenda shows that I have already entered 1 photo contests this year, 1 down... 80 more to go!
Anyone else ready to take this challenge with me?
